Tammy Stansbury

Serves as Vice President of Development and the Kentucky Office Manager for Woda Cooper, Inc. Ms. Stansbury has thirty-seven years in the affordable housing arena. She joined Woda Cooper in 2011 after leaving the Kentucky Housing Corporation (“KHC”), the state housing agency for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. During her 25-year tenure Ms. Stansbury served in a number of capacities, including the Director of Housing, Finance and Construction where she managed all facets of affordable housing, including tax credit allocations, development, construction, management, and compliance.

Ms. Stansbury served as KHC’s business development officer, responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with all KHC partners including developers, non-profit organizations, investors, equity providers, local officials, and other housing entities and agencies across the Commonwealth. Ms. Stansbury was also responsible for creating new initiatives for KHC. Ms. Stansbury has extensive experience with Section 42 tax credits, tax-exempt bond financings, and numerous housing related loan and grant programs, such as HUD’s Mortgage Insurance programs and the HOME Investment Partnership Program.

Ms. Stansbury is a certified housing development finance professional through The National Development Council, a certified housing inspector for HUD programs, and a member of The Institute of Real Estate Management – REM 101 Successful Site Management. Ms. Stansbury was inducted into the Housing Finance Agency Hall of Fame. Ms. Stansbury is a member and served as Co-Chair of Kentucky Interagency Homeless Coalition and is a member of the Kentucky Affordable Housing Coalition where she serves as the Secretary. Most recently she became a Board Member of Woman’s Affordable Housing Network (“WAHN”) for the state of Kentucky.
