Marissa Perlmutter

Marissa Perlmutter is a real estate finance lawyer at Ballard Spahr LLP. She has over five years of experience representing lenders nationally in a broad range of complex multifamily housing taxable and tax-exempt financing transactions. Her practice has a strong focus on affordable housing transactions, which use Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt debt, both credit enhanced or directly placed. Prior to Ballard Spahr, Marissa worked at PwC as a senior associate for the Financial Services Risk and Regulatory practice, where she advised financial institutions on compliance issues and drafted policies, procedures and other related documentation.

She received her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. Marissa is originally from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
