Sarah Kelty

Sarah Kelty, AICP is a Green Building Project Manager and the Marketing Manager at SK Collaborative, a sustainable construction consulting firm in Decatur, Georgia. When she’s not working with multifamily developers and architects on Enterprise Green Communities, Green Globes, and Fitwel certifications for their properties, she oversees the company’s marketing and brand goals — from web development and SEO, email marketing, social media, articles, and educational resources on building science. Sarah is also the point person for SK Collaborative’s team culture initiatives and is coordinating the company’s application to become a Certified B Corporation.

Prior to joining SK Collaborative, Sarah worked as a consultant for a disaster mitigation and resilience planning firm in Florida, working with state and local government clients on state/federal grant programs and hazard mitigation projects. Past experience also included serving as a Mayoral Fellow at the Tallahassee-Leon County Planning, Land Management & Community Enhancement (PLACE) Division’s Office of Economic Vitality in Tallahassee, Florida, and as Community Engagement Coordinator at YouthBuild Louisville in Kentucky – a nonprofit organization that empowers young people with construction skills through building affordable housing.

She holds an MSP from Florida State University’s Department of Urban & Regional Planning, with a specialization in Environmental Planning. Her non-work hobbies include organizing monthly puzzle meetups, leading a Girl Scout troop, and learning about native plants.
