For background, WAHN is the only national nonprofit that focuses on promoting women in leadership and workplace equity for all. Since national inception in 2001, we’ve established over 34+ chapters.
WAHN U is the national college and university initiative of the National Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN). WAHN U introduces top-tier students from colleges and universities across the country to careers in the affordable housing industry while connecting learning to real-world impact.
How Students Get Involved
Students from any college or university may participate in WAHN U by joining the national program. Once enrolled, students gain access to national programming and dedicated channels that connect them with WAHN members, professionals, and opportunities.
Through WAHN U, students may:
- Participate in national virtual programming and learning opportunities
- Connect with affordable housing professionals and mentors in their region
- Collaborate with peers from colleges and universities across the country
- Engage in national initiatives, case challenges, and applied learning experiences
National WAHN provides the structure, coordination, and support to ensure students have meaningful access to the industry, regardless of school or geography.
