North Carolina WAHN Karaok Night
Please join us as NCWAHN hosts karaoke night to raise funds for The Women’s Center, Wake County’s only day shelter for single women experiencing homelessness. In 2024, The Women’s Center relaunched its housing program services. They collaborate with partners from across the community to find individually appropriate housing for single women experiencing homelessness. Safe Haven, a 24-hour shelter operated by The Women’s Center offers transitional housing for adult women experiencing chronic homelessness with histories of severe and persistent mental illness as part of the larger transitional housing program. The Women’s Center day shelter offers safety and stabilization services, medical and behavioral healthcare resources, laundry, showers, computers and phone access, meals, clothing and hygiene products, instructional and enrichment workshops and classes, and group mutual aid and recovery programming to single women experiencing homelessness in Wake County.
