Victoria Yepez is a seasoned entrepreneur with nine years of experience in property management, commercial real estate consulting, and general contracting. As the founder and president of VY Management LLC, Victoria has been instrumental in steering the company toward new horizons. Under her leadership, VY Management has evolved into an innovative affordable housing development firm dedicated to empowering women in real estate while creating impactful projects for the community.

Victoria’s visionary leadership has been pivotal in transforming VY Management into a catalyst for positive change. With a focus on affordable housing development, the firm not only strives to create beneficial projects for the community but also aims to build capacity among women in the real estate industry. President Elect

Stephanie Karp

Stephanie Karp has been in the real estate world for nearly 20 years. Stephanie’s career has been driven by her passion for affordable housing.

She has experience managing all aspects of real estate transactions from the concept to initial financial feasibility, funding applications, due diligence, and closings. Stephanie works directly with funders, investors, attorneys, and project design teams to successfully add affordable housing to Minnesota.

Currently, she works as an affordable housing development consultant for the Landon Group. Her role at Landon Group is to work with developer clients on all aspects of affordable housing development. Stephanie also has nonprofit experience including working on community development, finance, and grant writing. She spent several years in Title giving her a unique skill set to get transactions closed.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Housing Studies program where her coursework focused on finance, design, low-income housing, and special populations such as elderly, immigrants, and those experiencing homelessness. She approached her studies through the lens of how housing and housing policy impacts our communities.

Secretary, Communications Committee Liaison

Quin Seiler

Quin Seiler is a shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine.  She is a litigation attorney who practices construction law and all things related to real estate.  Quin represents real estate developers and owners, including non-profit and for-profit developers, as well others in the affordable housing industry.  As part of her practice, she represents developers in connection with disputes that arise near the end of the low-income housing tax credit year-15 compliance period. She has experience advising clients on the full lifecycle of a dispute, and regularly works with clients to mitigate and resolve issues that might threaten the sustainability of affordable housing.

Tracy Bingen

Tracy Bingen, serves as the Treasurer of the Minnesota Women’s Affordable Housing Network Board of Directors. Tracy is the Senior Vice President of Enterprise & Property Finance at Dominium. Dominium is a leading national developer in affordable housing providing affordable homes to families and seniors across the country. Tracy has extensive experience in leading teams in a variety of finance and operational areas. Prior to joining Dominium, she worked at Target where she held a variety of finance and accounting leadership roles in retail and banking. Prior to that, she led teams in finance and accounting for Lawson Software and Arthur Andersen. Tracy has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Minnesota- Carlson School of Management. She is also a certified Public Accountant (inactive). Tracy volunteers time in the areas of food insecurity and STEM education.

Nikki Telander

Nikki Telander is a Principal at Baker Tilly providing tax compliance and consulting services to affordable housing developers across the country.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University – Mankato, a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota, and is a licensed CPA.  Nikki has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of their tax and accounting needs.

Kelly Gand

Kelly is passionate about marketing and business development and is motivated towards building long-term relationships within the affordable housing industry. As a resourceful problem solver shaped by working with cross-functional teams, she is driven to identify opportunities for improvement. Kelly is quick to learn, dedicated to delivering results, and enjoys collaborating as a team while learning from and alongside other women in the industry.

Nikki Mohs

Nikki Mohs is a Senior Financial Manager at Greater Minnesota Housing Fund (GMHF), leading the Asset Management team and overseeing GMHF’s loan and equity investment portfolios focusing on loan servicing, financial performance and risk management. She collaborates with borrowers to develop and implement loan workout plans and modifications for distressed loans. She has 15 years of affordable housing experience, including Housing Choice Voucher administration, property management and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit compliance from previous roles at the Dakota County Community Development Agency and Sherman Associates. Nikki has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She is a certified Rental Housing Development Finance Professional with Grow America.

Stacy Glovka

Stacy brings over 20 years of construction experience, specializing in complex projects with a focus on affordable housing. She collaborates closely with industry partners and community stakeholders to deliver housing and social service facilities that support underserved populations. Stacy is well versed in funding and compliance requirements, including affirmative action, prevailing wage, and sustainability standards. She holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and serves on the board for Riverton Community Housing.

Liza Kapisak

As a Director of Interior Design and Partner at BKV Group, Liza has over 20 years of experience developing programming, designing comprehensive concepts, and exploring creative space planning. Driven by fostering client relationships and working collaboratively with her internal team members, Liza delivers functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions, including finish and furnishing selections. Liza is attentive to the subtle details of a space which collectively creates a major impact on the enjoyment and functionality of the project. It’s through her commitment to deliberate and thoughtful design strategies that Liza differentiates herself in creating the very best environments for residents, while also being a leader amongst her design teams, and the public at-large having participated in national forums.

Erin Mathern

Erin Mathern is a shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A. She represents for-profit and non-profit developers with a focus on affordable, multifamily housing utilizing low-income housing tax credits and other forms of structured finance. Erin specializes in complex transactions involving a variety of funding sources including tax-exempt bonds, private equity, and agency and subordinate debt. Erin and her team have participated in the creation or rehabilitation of tens of thousands of units of affordable housing, creating favorable client outcomes that result in more, better housing for individuals and families. Erin also serves as Board Chair of Minnesota Housing Partnership, a non-profit dedicated to affordable housing research, policy, and capacity building.
