Mission

The mission of state Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN) chapters is to empower and develop women working in the affordable housing sector through partnership, networking, allyship, advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. We foster a supportive environment where individuals can bring their authentic selves, enabling the exchange of the brightest ideas. Driven by our collective goals, WAHN chapters work towards the establishment of a state-wide organization that brings together women from all sectors of the affordable housing industry. By uniting our expertise, passion, and resources, we aim to transform the affordable housing landscape, ensuring equitable access to secure and sustainable housing for all.

Chair/President

Christianne Brunini

Christianne Brunini is a communications strategist with a sharp eye for brand storytelling and a deep understanding of community-driven development. With more than a decade of experience spanning health, housing, and hospitality, she helps clients translate complex work into campaigns that connect—strategically, creatively, and with purpose.

At 30|90, Christianne leads communications efforts across every phase of development, from early engagement to the final ribbon-cutting ceremony. She will also lead business development, helping identify new client opportunities that align with the firm’s mission and expertise. Her background includes serving as Chief Business Development Officer for Knight Development, where she led a full-scale rebrand, launched a national housing conference, and created an industry awards program to elevate the company’s reputation. She also brings experience from the wellness sector, where she led marketing efforts for BankPlus subsidiary WellnessPlus and digital health startup Briye.

Christianne is a founding member of the Magnolia Chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network (LA/MS) and remains deeply committed to advancing the professional development of women in the industry.

She holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco. Christianne lives in Ridgeland, MS, with her husband and furbaby. When she’s not responding to RFPs, planning events, or building strategic partnerships, you’ll likely find her on the water with a fishing rod, in the field with a shotgun, or in the kitchen preparing something special for people she loves. She also enjoys visiting her three bonus kids, who are all becoming amazing adults.

Ashley Wilson

Ashley Wilson is a Fractional CFO and Consultant with Bantaa CPA, specializing in real estate development financed through federal and state historic tax credits, New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).  As a Fractional CFO, Ashley provides companies with flexibility, deep expertise, and cost-effective financial leadership. She partners with developers to implement robust financial administration policies and scalable practices that align with long-term strategic goals. By streamlining cash flow management, tax credit structuring, and compliance, she helps organizations enhance profitability, mitigate risk, and drive sustainable growth.

Ashley has served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at HRI, optimizing collaboration across property management, compliance, finance, and development. She also served as Director of Development Finance and later Chief Financial Officer at Knight Development, overseeing a 3,500-unit portfolio with $500 million in development costs. She began her career at Little & Associates, specializing in audit support, financial analysis, and HOME and tax credit consulting.

A strong advocate for mentorship and sponsorship of women, Ashley serves as Treasurer of the Magnolia Chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN), dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in the industry. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Affordable Housing Providers (LAAHP).

Saniya Black

Saniya Black is a sophomore at Tulane University, pursuing a degree in architecture and real estate development. As a recipient of affordable housing, she is deeply passionate about creating sustainable, accessible, and well-designed living spaces. With aspirations to work in affordable housing, interior design, and architecture, Saniya is committed to raising awareness and giving back to the community that has shaped her. She believes that everyone deserves a place to call home and hopes to use her skills to make a lasting impact in the field.

In addition to her studies, Saniya serves as the student liaison for her chapter, ensuring that college students’ voices are heard on important issues in an ever-changing world. She is also eager to network with other women in the industry and further her journey toward making a difference through design and development.

 

 

 

 

 

Board Member at Large - Mississippi

Jennifer Allyn Davis

Jennifer Allyn Davis has worked in affordable housing since 2018, with 20+ years of experience in customer service, social media marketing, and administration. She is a Development Assistant at NHD Group, LLC, previously serving as Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO and Special Projects Coordinator for Knight Development. Her expertise includes LIHTC, HOME-ARP, HOME funding, RAD, and PHA asset repositioning. She played a key role in converting the Walker County Housing Authority portfolio and has helped close projects in Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana.

Jennifer holds a B.S. in Business Commerce and Finance from the University of Alabama and lives in Pearl, Mississippi. She is a Gold and Silver Presidential Volunteer Service Award recipient, founder of the Butterfly Kisses and Cookie Hugs initiative, spokesperson for Stand for the Silent – Pearl, MS Chapter, and a volunteer with CASA, supporting foster children.

Outside of work and volunteering, Jennifer enjoys running 5Ks for charity, baking cupcakes, and performing musical numbers in her kitchen. She also proudly represents Mississippi as Mrs. Magnolia State 2025.

Angie Ellis

Angela (Angie) Ellis is an environmental and engineering professional with over 20 years of experience guiding risk management strategies for real estate development across the United States. As Senior Due Diligence Manager at Moran Consultants and a member of the firm’s executive and leadership team, she oversees the Due Diligence Division, which includes the Building Assessment and Environmental Assessment Departments. Her team delivers Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Capital Needs Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, Stabilized Property Inspections, and more for portfolios ranging from affordable housing and healthcare to industrial and retail assets.

Angie is a property condition inspector, Certified Environmental Scientist (CES), Registered Environmental Manager (REM), and licensed asbestos inspector. She is known for translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights that support clients’ regulatory and investment goals. Her expertise spans lender-specific protocols and specialized training in property condition, accessibility, environmental risk, lead, radon, vapor encroachment, and more. Throughout her career, she has led national teams with a strong focus on continuous improvement, quality, training, and excellence.

Angie is a proud member of the Magnolia Chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network and actively supports mentorship and professional development within the industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Orleans, along with graduate-level business studies focused on leadership and strategy. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Angie enjoys traveling, learning new things, tapping into creativity, developing a green-thumb, and connecting people and purpose.

Kelly Longwell

Kelly Longwell represents clients on general tax and corporate matters, taxation of individuals and entities, federal and state tax credits, and partnership taxation. She is also a licensed title insurance agent in the State of Louisiana and frequently represents development clients in real estate syndications and development, acquisitions/sales, leasing, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, commercial loans, secured transactions, and incentive-based loans and equity investments.

Kelly is consistently recognized as one of the country’s top affordable housing and community development attorneys. She advises clients on low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, new market tax credits, tax-exempt bond financing, tax increment financing, façade donations, community development block grants, HUD-insured loans, and various other public finance sources. Her diverse client mix includes developers, investors, lenders, nonprofit entities, government entities, and community development entities. Working on a wide spectrum of projects, Kelly has particular expertise in structuring real estate developments to maximize tax benefits and investment. Her projects include housing developments, hotels, mixed-use developments, office buildings, health care facilities, commercial retail developments, education facilities, entertainment venues, and community facilities.

Olivia Dossett

Olivia Dossett is one of the managing partners of Fairfield Properties, which offers full-scope services for multi-family housing spanning development, construction, and property management. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and now resides in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The COMMUNITY SERVICE & EDUCATION COMMITTEE seeks to engage, support, and serve mission-oriented causes in an effort to bring together the collective passions and resources of its members to better provide outreach to the communities in which we live and work. We aim to provide welcoming opportunities for volunteer and community service that embrace the diverse ideas, knowledge, and cultures of our members and the communities we serve.

The EVENTS COMMITTEE is engaged in planning events that not only support our mission but fosters collaboration. Always open to new ideas, some of our past events include happy hours, Housing Conference meetings, and TED talk-style presentations. Our regional representatives assist in coordinating regionally specific events for our members.

The FINANCE COMMITTEE provides financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organizational budget. Typical tasks include accounting, budgeting, and financial planning, preparation of annual tax returns, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies.

The MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE’S purpose is to recruit new members who have an active role in the affordable housing industry, develop networking, volunteerism, and community engagement opportunities for members, and promote the value of membership through professional and personal development activities. The Membership Committee takes great pleasure in helping to empower women working in all aspects of affordable housing in the States of Louisana & Mississippi.

The PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE is responsible for maintaining the group’s social media accounts as well as the preparation and distribution of the newsletter. The Communications Committee works with the Events Committee and Sponsorship Committee to ensure that our members are kept up to date with upcoming events and that our sponsors are properly represented.

The SPONSORSHIP COMMITTEE is responsible for coordinating the receipt of sponsors and their donations. Committee members communicate with potential and existing sponsors to answer any questions and keep track of responsibilities to those sponsors. Committee members work with the Communications Committee to get information from sponsors in order to highlight them in newsletters and on social media. Committee members are also responsible for keeping track of the amount of funds coming in from sponsors and track the events and social media posts for each Sponsor.
